Other MSE performances cover charity functions, special occasions and
concerts combined
with other youth music groups in Australia and overseas.
In recent years MSE has performed at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden show
at the Royal Exhibition Building and garden. Garden lovers were treated to string
chamber music serenading the patrons while wandering around the great hall
admiring the flower arrangements.
On April 25, 2005, MSE have performed the Morington RSL
ANZAC service.
MSE has performed for DAIMLERCHRYSLER both in Australia and Germany.
In 2003, MSE performed at the Australian Embassy in Berlin where over 400
guests were invited for a performance of Vivadli's Summer and Winter, Schubert's
Rondo and two movements of Australian Richard Meale's String
Quartet no 2.
MSE has performed charity concerts for Rotary in Australia, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Over the last three years, MSE has also performed with the Young Voices of
Melbourne.
